Join Our Team as a Rehabilitation Counsellor / Psychologist!

The Role:

Are you a compassionate professional looking to make a difference? Join us as a Rehabilitation Counsellor / Psychologist and provide essential vocational and case management services to clients. Your tasks will encompass:

  • Vocational assessment and reporting
  • Job seeking training and assistance
  • Medical case conferencing
  • General case management
  • Communication and reporting
  • Specialised job placement for clients with multiple barriers to employment
  • Assessment of client needs

This role primarily serves metro Sydney, with potential for regional travel, offering a hybrid (on-site and remote) work model.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling OR Psychology
  • Professional membership (ASORC/RCAA or AHPRA)
  • 12 months of experience in Occupational Rehabilitation or a similar role; early career counsellors encouraged to apply 
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured vehicle or access to a pool car (by negotiation)
  • Ability to organise your client load independently 
  • organise and plan community or Liverpool based appointments and work from home for additional hours of work
  • Willingness to work with clinical team to assist with non Occupational Rehabilitation clients
  • COVID-19 vaccination currency 
  • Subject to Police clearance and working with children checks
  • Must have right to work in Australia
