The Role:
Are you a compassionate professional looking to make a difference? Join us as a Rehabilitation Counsellor / Psychologist and provide essential vocational and case management services to clients. Your tasks will encompass:
- Vocational assessment and reporting
- Job seeking training and assistance
- Medical case conferencing
- General case management
- Communication and reporting
- Specialised job placement for clients with multiple barriers to employment
- Assessment of client needs
This role primarily serves metro Sydney, with potential for regional travel, offering a hybrid (on-site and remote) work model.
Qualifications and Experience:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling OR Psychology
- Professional membership (ASORC/RCAA or AHPRA)
- 12 months of experience in Occupational Rehabilitation or a similar role; early career counsellors encouraged to apply
- A valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured vehicle or access to a pool car (by negotiation)
- Ability to organise your client load independently
- organise and plan community or Liverpool based appointments and work from home for additional hours of work
- Willingness to work with clinical team to assist with non Occupational Rehabilitation clients
- COVID-19 vaccination currency
- Subject to Police clearance and working with children checks
- Must have right to work in Australia
