What you’ll do
The primary function of the role is to provide quality client service in delivering Relationship Education Groupwork community focused programs. The role has a strong focus on working in high schools to deliver programs. You’ll lead groups, creating a therapeutic learning environment for clients to explore individual and family relationship issues.
  
The details:

  • 3 days a week
  • 6 month contract
  • $42-$47 per hour plus super

What you’ll bring

  • Relevant qualifications in counselling, psychology, social work, health promotion, adult education, community welfare or similar field including group work training
  • 2 years’ experience as a group worker or educator
  • Understanding of working within a trauma informed framework
  • Excellent communication skills-written and verbal
  • Training and experience in working in any of the following areas:

         – Working in an educational context with children;
         – Working with domestic violence;
         – Parenting groups;
         – Children/Youth in groups
