What you’ll do

  • Facilitate groups, creating a therapeutic learning environment for clients to explore individual, couple and family relationship issues
  • Ensure compliance with all program requirements
  • Contribute to the design, implementation and evaluation of programs
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of program resources
  • Undertake administrative requirements and ensure accurate record keeping 
  • Regularly attend Clinical Supervision

The details

  • Part time contract to 30/6/23 
  • 3 days a week – able to work from home 
  • Able to run sessions after business hours at times
  • $42-$47 per hour + super 

What you’ll bring

  • Formal graduate qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or other relevant disciplines including group work training
  • Minimum 3 years experience in working with families and groupwork
  • Relevant experience in working in an educational context with adults and children
  • Understanding of groupwork practice and process
  • Ability to provide quality therapeutic groupwork interventions that are person- centred, trauma-informed, strengths-based.
  • Highly developed therapeutic skill base for assessment, engagement and working with people who have experienced separation, abuse and trauma
