About the Role
We are seeking a Resident Relations (Perm P/T or F/T) to join the team and enhance the social wellbeing of our residents. The hours will vary, but you will generally be rostered Monday to Friday, between 9am to 5pm. Resident Relations staff are the heart and soul of our community, they are the masters of first impression at the front desk, help residents with whatever tasks they require, manage activities etc. You need to ooze empathy, customer service and have a heart to help.
Your responsibilities
You will be part of an onsite team including resident activities, catering, and care. You will be joining a positive company culture with the opportunity to make a difference and utilize best practice systems & processes.
Key responsibilities include
- Provide a warm, welcoming and professional reception service
- Provide a wide range of day-today administrative support and reception services
- Maintain resident database and assist with administrative tasks in relation to residents
- Assist with tasks such as word processing, correspondence, bookings and document management
- Provide financial administrative tasks support on month-end reconciliation, supply orders, banking etc.
- Proactively engage with residents to design a varied resident activities program.
- Conduct the resident activities program, which delivers positive lifestyle options for all residents. Gain an appreciation of all residents’ personal interests to provide activities that cater to all residents.
- Coordinate and accompany residents on bus trips to ensure their safety.
Essential requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role (Hotel/Guest/Wellbeing Services background would be advantageous)
- Demonstrated experience in data entry
- Demonstrated experience in financial administrative procedures, including reconciliation and petty cash
- Experience in database management would be highly regarded
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to learn and navigate new systems/programs
- Flexibility to work across a 5-day roster
