JOB DESCRIPTION

Aitken College is a Prep to Year 12 co-educational, independent school in association with the Uniting Church located on 18 hectares in Greenvale. We offer a collaborative and innovative academic environment that encourages individual excellence, honesty, kindness and respect. 

We are seeking a passionate, innovative, engaging and suitably qualified individual to join our team for a Part-Time as a School Counsellor. This is an ongoing part time position (possibility of full time in the future), commencing Term 4 2023.  

The Student Counsellor works as part of the Wellbeing Team to provided an exceptional standard of support to students. This person will have experience in supporting students experiencing social, emotional and/or psychological concerns. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Wellbeing and will work with a team of highly experienced counsellors, school leaders, classroom teachers, staff, as well as parents to provide support for students.
