* Part Time, Ongoing

* Report directly to the Head of Campus
* Hours – Monday to Friday 9.00am – 2.30pm

Frontline Education are currently recruiting for this unique opportunity within the Independent Education Sector in the Western Suburbs of Sydney:

School Counsellor

This part time role is within an alternative education setting for students in years 7-11. This independent school is in the Western Suburbs area of Sydney.

The Role:
* Part Time, Ongoing/Permanent
* Commencing employment ASAP
* Report directly to the Head of Campus
* Identify and encourage students who are uninvolved in mainstream school life
* Individual counselling of students as well as assistance and counselling to parents

You will:
* Hold formal qualifications that include counselling (minimum Cert IV)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Be familiar with psychological and education assessment tools
* Experience within an educational context would be desirable

The Full time equivalent salary for this role is Circa $100k and this will be paid on a pro rata basis for Part Time/Term time only and averaged over 52 weeks per year. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking to work during schools hours only and spend non-school hours with their family or on other commitments.
