Pinnacle College is a non-denominational, independent school (F-12) located in the northern suburbs of Adelaide. About the Role

We are seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced Counsellors for a part time, permanent position to commence in 2024. The School Counsellor will provide confidential counselling of students experiencing personal, relational, social or educational difficulties. The School Counsellor guides students to reach their full potential, and acts as an advocate for students’ wellbeing. The School Counsellor liaises between students and staff and has close working relationships with those with key roles in teaching, inclusive education, and pastoral care.

Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor degree or higher in Psychology, Psychological Science, or Counselling
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
  • Flexibility and an ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to work with a variety of IT software platforms.
  • A commitment to the mission, vision, and core values of the College.
  • Working with Children Check.
