Haileybury Rendall School is seeking a School Counsellor/Psychologist. This is a fulltime, permanent position commencing January 2023.
Haileybury Rendall School is an ELC – Year 12 leading independent School with over 900 students. The School is seeking a qualified Psychologist or student Counsellor who is able to work with students of all ages. The school has 15% Indigenous students and 10% of students are Boarders from remote communities. The school is also beginning to enrol international students from across South-east Asia. The incumbent will be able to work with a wide range of students and will be supported by a second Counsellor/Psychologist who works two to three days per week.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Experience working with young people between the ages of 4 and 18
- Experience in counselling students and working with parents
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and individual professional supervision
- Understanding issues around confidentiality and privacy
The following criteria are desirable but not essential:
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds
- Family Therapy Training/crisis intervention
- Other skills and experience that lend themselves to the School context
General Information:
- Appropriate academic qualifications and registrations
- Current Ochre Card (Working with Children Check, NT)
- Ability to provide documentation regarding any NT health mandates
