Cedars is a Prep to Year 12 independent private school with over 780 students located just 10 kilometres south of Wollongong in the heart of the beautiful Illawarra. We are currently inviting applications for the following position: 

SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST 

Commencing Term 1, 2023

A permanent position exists for the successful applicant to work within the Cedars Christian College community as part of our Student Wellbeing Team. 

The successful applicant will:

  • Provide psychological and counselling services to the students;
  • Work effectively in a team environment with other school psychologists, counsellors, staff and parents to ensure the individual needs of students are met;
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Give attention to detail with record keeping, ensuring legislative requirements regarding documentation and child protection are met;
  • Maintain strong relationships with relevant welfare, counselling, health and related service organisations;
  • Participate in the extracurricular life of the College;
  • Be professional and demonstrate a high level of integrity when working with staff, students and their families

Full registration as a Psychologist under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is essential.

This is a fulltime role, however a part-time load maybe negotiated by the successful candidate, including the ability to work in term time only if preferred.
