SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST/ COUNSELLOR
A permanent part-time position (0.4 to 0.8 FTE) exists for the successful applicant to work within the Cedars Christian College community as part of our Student Wellbeing Team.
The successful applicant will:
- Provide psychological and counselling services to the students from Years 7-12.
- Work effectively in a team environment with other school psychologists, counsellors, staff, and parents to ensure the individual needs of students are met.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Give attention to detail with record keeping, ensuring legislative requirements regarding documentation and child protection are met.
- Maintain strong relationships with relevant welfare, counselling, health and related service organisations.
- Participate in the extracurricular life of the College.
- Be professional and demonstrate a high level of integrity when working with staff, students, and their families.
Full registration as a Psychologist under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is desirable.
The option to work in school term time only, if preferred, is negotiable.
