The successful applicant will have:
- Qualifications in psychology/counselling enabling professional registration
- An ability to effectively manage child, adolescent and family issues in an educational context
- An understanding of student academic and wellbeing needs in relation to student learning and personal growth outcomes
- Expertise in identification, formulation and counselling of students
- An ability to work effectively with highly sensitive and confidential matters
- An enthusiasm for enhancing a positive school culture by initiating student well-being initiatives
- Superior organisational and collaborative abilities
- An ability to develop a positive, harmonious and constructive team environment
- Relevant experience in a school environment or similar, would be advantageous
- An understanding of and commitment to the Anglican ethos of the School
- A current NSW Working with Children Check (or be eligible to apply for one)
