School Psychologist/Counsellor – Part-time OLSH College Bentleigh

JOB DESCRIPTION

OLSH College Bentleigh is an independent Catholic secondary school for girls with a commitment to the mission of Catholic education. Administered by the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, the College is built on a tradition of 85 years of inspiring excellence at the Heart of girls’ education.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Psychologists/Counsellors for the following part-time ongoing position: 

School Psychologist/Counsellor- Part-time 0.6 FTE 

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.

Reporting to the Head of Counselling you will be an integral part of the school’s wellbeing and pastoral care program and will work with students and families. The successful applicant will contribute significantly to building safety, recovery, relationships and resilience of our OLSH College girls. 

The successful applicant must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a passion for a whole‐school approach to student wellbeing. The ability to work with staff and the student wellbeing team is essential.

Formal Qualifications in Psychology/Counselling are required for this role and recent Graduates will be considered.
