SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST

Full-time, ongoing position 

Commencing January 2023

John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School (JSRACS) is a member school of the Anglican Schools Commission. With an impressive academic record, extensive and successful sporting, music and co-curricular programmes this vibrant community is an exciting and rewarding place to work.

We are seeking applications from suitably qualified Psychologists to join our Counsellors Team.  The successful candidate will provide a proactive service that supports the psychological, emotional, social and learning needs of our students.  Working as part of the Counsellors Team, they will enact a holistic approach to wellbeing, focusing on both prevention and early intervention.

Selection Criteria
Required:

  • Hold a Psychology qualification from an accredited university
  • Be a Registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency – AHPRA)
  • Have a current Working with Children Check

Desirable:

  • Membership with or eligible for membership of the Australian Psychological Society (APS)
  • Endorsement as an Educational and Developmental Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA)
  • Previous work experience in an educational environment, preferably school(s)
