School Psychologist – Junior School Trinity College

JOB DESCRIPTION

Part-time Ongoing position, commencing 1 January 2023. 

The Registered Psychologist, with relevant School experience, is responsible to the Principal and will work with and alongside students to enhance their wellbeing. Our Team of Psychologists work closely with the Learning Support Team and other key pastoral staff and families to support the students’ social, emotional and academic needs. The successful applicant will be an integral member of the College staff. 

An Educational and Developmental Psychologist would be desirable, but is not essential.

Applicants for the above position must be energetic and innovative individuals who are strongly team oriented and committed to supporting the Catholic ethos of the College and its co-curricular activities. The successful applicant will also be required to participate in Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) and Catholic Education Western Australia Limited (CEWA Ltd) professional formation and accreditation processes.

Employment is conditional upon the applicant holding current Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, being prepared to apply for a Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance and a valid Working with Children card must accompany the application.
