JOB DESCRIPTION

St Mary’s College is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the following role;

School Psychologist or Social Worker or Counsellor 
Ongoing position
Commencing as soon as possible
30.4 hours per week, working 42 weeks per year
4 days per week
8.00am – 4.36pm
 

The College is seeking an outstanding Psychologist or Social Worker or Counsellor to join its committed staff.  The successful candidate will have a high level of knowledge and skills and experience in the provision of psychological and mental health services for students. They will work collaboratively with students, their families, the school and other members of each student’s mental health team to manage and/or resolve psychological problems to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes.

They will work autonomously at a professional level, exercising judgement and discretion to ensure that the needs of students are met, their potential is developed, their learning outcomes are maximised and a sense of their control over their own lives is fostered.

Salary will be in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.
