The Role:

Working within a team of driven, people-focused individuals, who are passionate about IVET, there is a new opportunity for a School Relationship Officer (SRO) to join the team. The SRO’s purpose is to engage, support, and guide Secondary Schools, providing them with the tools to successfully run VET courses for their students. IVET’s vision is to be the preferred VET in school’s provider across Australia. To make this happen, you will be a problem solver, and reliable support to assist the success of their students. The focus of the role will be to listen and understand each of your school’s goals and provide a solution that is tailored just for them. Due to the size of IVET, and continuous growth, we have a plethora of courses available so we can easily create the right recipe. An understanding of VET in school programs is crucial, however, training will be provided.

School Relationship Officer’s core duties are to (not limited to):

  • One-point contact for your partner schools, providing support, guidance and care
  • Regular communication with schools, and building trust
  • Provide accurate advice on all aspects of the school’s program and ensure knowledge in the area is maintained to an exceptional level
  • Monitor participant progress in schools and provide advice and assistance where necessary
  • Grow new business within the markets we deliver
  • Multi-tasking visits, administration tasks, phone calls and managing activity efficiently
  • Maintain the IVET CRM (Hub Spot) and Student Management System
  • Build and identify areas for expansion
  • IVET’s offices are based in Leederville and IVET works with schools in all regions of Western Australia
  • This position is a 12-month contract position with the opportunity for ongoing employment.

The Person:

We are looking for an individual who will be able to uphold the values and integrity of the company, with a strong focus on education. The main objective of this role is to nurture IVET’s partnering schools, create new partnerships, and maintain long-standing relationships. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to be a capable autonomous worker with a high level of interpersonal skills. To be considered, a successful candidate will be passionate about people along with experience in either an Account Management role, an RTO (Registered Training Organisation), Secondary School (with a background in teaching) or within an educational setting.

The desired skills and requirements of a successful applicant include:

  • Highly proficient in the use of MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, some Excel)
  • Drive to grow the IVET business and identify opportunities
  • Willingness to travel (paid for by IVET)
  • Teacher qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • A strong interest in Vocational training
  • Certificate IV TAE40110 or TAE40116 (desirable but not essential)
  • A savvy ICT mindset
  • Use of own car and current drivers’ licence
