About the role:
Located within our Programs and Services team The Orange Door Bendigo, this full-time opportunity is a contract position until 30th June 2023.
This integral position will enable you to use your professional skills and expert advice to be a dedicated resource to professional referrers supporting the development of their confidence and expertise. You will work with professional referrers to enable them to confidently refer clients for family violence and family vulnerability, as well as drive enhanced practice responses across the Hub and build relationships with key referral workforces.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing pathways, providing assistance, consultation and advice to build the capacity of our team of professional referrers.
- Mapping key referral pathways into The Orange Door.
- Establishing, developing and evaluating practices and procedures.
- Providing sound judgement and authoritative advice on risks, priorities, accountability, and practice matters.
- Establishing strong partnerships within the multidisciplinary environment of The Orange Door.
About you:
To be considered for this position you will have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, community services and/or a related human services field.
- Advanced knowledge and experience working in clinical roles in family violence and child and family vulnerability.
- A sound understanding of the family violence and child wellbeing system, and referral options for clients.
- A sound understanding of the MARAM framework and sector obligations.
