The Link Youth Health Service Inc (The Link) has been providing health services to Tasmanian young people (12-25 years) for over 30 years. headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds. headspace can help young people with mental health, physical health (including sexual health), alcohol and other drug services, and work and study support.

About the positions:
The Senior Alcohol and Other Drugs Community Youth Health Clinician will provide leadership, daily operations management, and support to other program staff, in particular the Open Access Staff, including taking a leadership role in the Open Access area, overseeing and refining Open Access Service delivery particularly from an AOD service and engagement perspective.
The Senior Alcohol and Other Drugs Community Youth Health Clinician has three distinct functions –
1) Case management for young people seeking support for Alcohol and Other Drug related presentations
2) Brief interventions for young people, families and friends seeking support for Alcohol and Other Drug related presentations
3) Provision of clinical supervision/coordination for other Alcohol and Other Drug staff including supporting the team’s:
3a) Alcohol and Other Drug specific professional development
3b) Alcohol and Other Drug specific clinical supervision and education
3c) Alcohol and Other Drug specific health promotion
