Our new Services team will be opening a Child and Family Centre in Papunya, and we are looking for the right person to deliver day to day case management in conjunction with the Manager and 4 local hires
The role is one that demands a flexibility of approach, and someone well versed in life on a remote community and the challenges that community members face
There will be an emphasis on individual case management, as well as working with the CFC Manager to find and get access to services that will be of benefit to the community.
The role will be based in Papunya, with responsibility extending to other local communities.
The ideal candidate:
• Must have 1 – 3 years’ relevant experience, most likely from a social services background.
• Will have, or will quickly gain, a good understanding of local decision making.
• Has 1 – 3 years’ experience in case management.
• Must have lived and worked in a remote community.
• Understands child protection, as well as the relevant services that are available.
