In anticipation of an unprecedented volume of work projected for 2024, we are inviting expressions of interest for a Senior Case worker.
We are currently seeking a Senior Case worker to join the Family Safety Services team. As a Senior Case Worker, you will develop and deliver a coordinated, wraparound service for clients from when they are first referred through to when they are discharged from the service, utilising a trauma-informed approach.
This position will be offered on a permanent full time working 76 hours per fortnight.

Selection Criteria
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Social Work, Psychology or other relevant field and eligible for membership with peak body.
- Advanced risk assessment, safety planning, advocacy and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop rapport, be non-judgmental and provide a high level of counselling, case management and assessment to clients.
- Ability to apply current knowledge of developmental and psychosocial issues to assess clients and refer effectively if deemed necessary.
- Significant knowledge of Family and Domestic Violence and working with Family Safety
- Knowledge in developmental and psychosocial issues.
- Knowledge of relevant theoretical approaches for working with young people and families
- Satisfactory Police clearance (not older than 6 months from the issue date)
- Unrestricted drivers’ licence
- Working With Children Check
