ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Counsellor ensures the delivery of efficient and appropriate counselling services and programs to enrolled and prospective students. The role supervises other counsellors and staff involved in delivering and administering professional and best practice counselling services as well as providing direct counselling to students and contributing expertise to broader counselling services planning and implementation strategies.
You have impeccable communication skills, are analytical, organised and a natural problem solver.
You enjoy building trusting relationships, collaborating with your Team and taking initiative.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Appropriate degree from a tertiary institution and at least three years study in psychology plus minimum two years appropriate vocational experience.

Current registration with The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Substantial experience in the provision of vocational, educational and personal counselling services.

Willingness and ability to travel as per business requirements.

Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description.

WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE
This position offers a base salary of $122,727.00 – $125,764.00 p.a (pro-rata for part time position) plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
You will enjoy a 35-hour (full-time) or 17.5-hour (part-ime) working week, access to multiple benefits such as flexible work arrangements, free health checks, fitness passport, employee wellbeing and assistance programs.
