About Us
Access Your Supports services are delivered under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funded by the Australian Government. Our services aim to assist participants through evidenced-based therapy interventions. The program supports participants with approved NDIS Plans.
About the Role
The Senior Early Intervention Key Worker reports directly to the Operations Manager and provides leadership, support, supervision, and guidance to the Early Intervention Key Worker team. The Senior Early Intervention Key Worker will maintain a small caseload and work with participants aged 0-7 and their families, utilising a transdisciplinary model to deliver therapy in a personalised way.
Duties (including but not limited to):
General
- Provision of therapy (group & individual) to families in a transdisciplinary model, drawing on the expertise, knowledge and skills from within the team.
- Arrange and complete relevant functional and developmental assessments.
- Develop, set and review a Family Services Support Plan for each participant annually.
- Deliver services within the home environment, education environment or other natural environment.
- Compilation of case notes, reports and letters for NDIS Participants, other health professionals in line with NDIS reporting requirements.
Operational
- Support Early Intervention Key Workers in their roles.
- Provide regular clinical supervision.
- Meet agreed standards of staff supervision in line with Access Your Supports and Service Policies and Procedures.
- Monitor salary staff fortnightly KPI performance to ensure agreed targets are being reached
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification(s), registration or certification with professional body and experience in one of the following areas – Social Work, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Speech Pathology.
- Minimum 3 years experience delivering early childhood early intervention
- Strong knowledge of child development
- Excellent clinical skills, and problem-solving skills
- Effective time management skills
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- Cleared Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC) or current VIT registration
- Cleared National NDIS Worker Screen Check
