Remuneration: $91,929 to $97,661 per annum (pro rata)

Hours: Permanent Part-time 22.8 hours per week

Location: Midland / Armadale

The position

We are seeking individuals with a strong passion and drive to engage and provide high-quality counselling support to adults and young people, on an individual basis as well as providing reflective practice leadership and ensuring team members client practice is supported providing reflective practice leadership and ensuring team members’ client practice is supported.

Responsibilities of the role include:

– Provide monthly Reflective Practice Supervision to identified HelpingMinds team members, enhancing their capacity to deliver safe, high quality services;

– Coordinate and facilitate Case Review meetings;

– Provide a counselling service to young people (0-18) at risk of developing mental health issues and adult carers, including Aboriginal and culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) carers.

– Employ both a brief intervention model for working with clients as well as therapeutic interventions where appropriate for the support HelpingMinds offers;

– Develop and facilitate innovative support groups and workshops for carers;

– Develop wellbeing care plans with clients and utilising a strengths-based approach, discuss the issues and impact of mental health and apply goal setting and identifying support networks;
