About the role 

The organisation are looking for an experienced and engaging Behaviour Support Practitioner, to join their highly regarded and diverse team to develop and deliver evidence based support plans within a complex support space. Your clients will be more of the complex clients & providing mentoring, training and shadowing for junior clinicians as required

Within this role you will be required to ensure that your NDIS clients goals are met using the positive behaviour support framework, making sure that these plans will promote their quality of life. 

Key Selection Criteria 

  • NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner (or the ability to become registered
  • Current Driver’s License & access to a car 
  • Eligibility for Medicare registration 
  • Desire to make a positive difference in the life of others 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Board-Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBA), Teaching, Social Work, Social Sciences, Criminology, Health Science, Allied Health or Nursing
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other complex diagnoses (desirable)
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to get one for a client facing role (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
