Your new role As Senior Psychologist at PeopleSense by Altius, you will be responsible for:
Leadership
- Provide internal supervision to members of the team and/or placement students to support them to develop their skills and work independently.
Clinical expertship
- Facilitate and participate in clinical supervision of client caseload as needed, ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered.
- Undertake quality assurance activities to maintain and improve service delivery excellence.
- Facilitate workshops for team members across NSW and the East Coast in areas of interest and clinical expertise (optional)
Psychological service delivery
- Provide psychological services to a caseload of clients and customers by delivering evidence-based interventions and therapeutic support, including:
- Private / Medicare rebated counselling
- Compensation Scheme Work – support our clients with pain related issues, injury adjustment and trauma from an acquired injury
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselling – offering services to a range of clients, including adults, children and adolescences and couples
- Onsite and Critical Incident Attendance – support people at their workplace
- Multidisciplinary Interventions – work in a high performing multidisciplinary team based in Newcastle and broader NSW to support evidence-based, client outcomes
- Psychological Assessment
- Treatment in areas of interest and expertise.
