Qualifications & experience

 

  • For Newcastle and Central Coast, we are seeking an experienced consultant with an Allied Health background of Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Rehabilitation Counsellor, Social Worker, Nurse or Exercise Physiologist
  • For Sydney metro, we are seeking an experienced consultant with an Allied Health background of Rehab Counselling or Psychology
  • Minimum 12 months experience within occupational rehabilitation
  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written
  • Client centric focus

 

 

 

Tasks & responsibilities

 

  • Case management of clients with physical and/or psychological injury/illness 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and guidance on recovery and return to work
  • Conduct a wide range of assessments, including Functional, Vocational, Initial Needs Assessments, Activities of Daily Living, etc
  • Attend Medical Case Conferences with various specialists/health practitioners.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Doctors, Allied Health Professionals, Employers, Insurers and Brokers
