We're expanding rapidly and seeking talented team members who share our values and wish to join our community for mutual success.

About the Role

We are looking for passionate Youth Workers to work directly with young people who are vulnerable and in need of assistance.
Our Youth Workers are the positive influence in their lives to help them build life skills, healthy attachments, and work through challenges and tough times together.  The ultimate outcome is guiding them to live a fulfilled and independent life.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Building a strong connection and trust with young people, acting as a role model with residential house duties.
  • Navigate through their personal challenges, providing both emotional & professional support in collaboration with the team of Youth Workers, Case Managers, and other relevant community services.
  • Help engage in post-crisis support functions to better support young people with complex needs and behaviours.

About You

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • Demonstrated ability to openly engage and build trust with young people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Implement strategies and tactics to mentor and teach our youth necessary life skills.
  • Maintain a strong will and resilience to bounce back from tough situations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results.
  • Hold and maintain a full NSW Driver's License

Due to the trauma sensitive nature of work, we require our inductee Youth Workers to successfully complete the Induction Program before they can be assigned to a young person.  As such, employment offers are made on a casual basis and following the successful completion of the Induction Program, permanent, full-time offers are made. Candidates will need to be available to attend the Induction Program which takes approximately 3 weeks.
