Service Integration Coordinator / Permanent part-time / 64 hours p.f.
Applications are being sought from candidates with either Occupational Therapy, Psychology or Social Work qualification.
The Service Intervention Coordinator role aims to improve collaboration between Mental Health services, other government agencies, non-government organisations and private sector providers for consumers with severe and persistent mental illnesses and complex multi-systemic needs and will assist in facilitating the delivery of coordinated multi-agency support.
The Service Integration Coordinator works directly with individual clinical teams to plan, implement and evaluate activities that develop capabilities and competencies to ensure identified mental health consumer needs are aligned with, and delivered by, the most appropriate clinical and/or non-clinical service providers that effects best practice standards for mental health.
Generous remuneration package value up to $123,705 p.a. comprising:
- Salary range of $60.34 to $64.93 p.h. (HP4)
- Annual Leave with leave loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.
The successful candidate will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following
- Proven ability to lead and manage the delivery of evidence-informed allied health care in mental health settings.
- Ability to work collaboratively and in partnership with Queensland government agencies, non-government organisations and private sector providers.
- Ability to implement a framework in the planning and provision of services to people with severe mental health problems and complex care needs.
- Knowledge of current clinical practices, philosophies and trends in the delivery of mental health services in Queensland and how this impacts on those who are at risk of falling through the gaps in service delivery and not accessing appropriate clinical and community support services.
- High-level interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills, ability to consult, negotiate, and liaise effectively with key stakeholders, people with a mental illness, their families and/or carers. Together with a demonstrated proven ability to work independently and autonomously and have demonstrated effective time management skills.

Requirements
- It is a mandatory requirement to be and to remain vaccinated against COVID-19.
- Proof of qualification (Occupational Therapy, Psychology or Social Work) and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association..
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty.
- Appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) under the Mental Health Act 2016 would be highly desirable. If not AMHP – then willingness to undertake and complete the requirements for appointment .
- All employees of the MHSG may be required to work in other areas of the Service
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
