About the role:
The Service Lead, Therapy provides effective leadership to a multi-disciplinary team of health professionals. The position will be responsible for ensuring caseloads are managed effectively, and services are delivered in line with Kudos Services utilisation targets. In addition, the focus of the position will support service development activities, working alongside the General Manager, Therapy Services to drive continuous improvement.
In this role you will be:
- Undertaking the day to day direct line management of teams ensuring effective service delivery.
- Undertaking a clinical caseload and providing a clinically relevant service based on evidence-based practice (as required).
- Implementation of service delivery in line with strategic and operational goals.
- Monitoring performance measures and coordinate collaborative changes in practices.
- Engaging with current and potential clients ensuring timely response to feedback and complaints, intake and referral conversion and general client queries.
- Assisting with the implementation of organisational systems and processes which support continuous improvement strategies.
- Supporting continuous improvement in the business performance of therapy services to achieve and maintain a differentiated market position and effectively contribute towards the Strategic Plan.
- Assisting in the management complex relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), government agencies and non-government organisations.
- Any other responsibilities in line with the position as assigned by the Supervisor and/or Kudos Services.
The successful applicant will have:
- Relevant allied health tertiary qualification, and equivalent combination of experience in the leadership of a multi-disciplinary clinical services teams.
- A strong commitment to leading a positive team culture and delivering outcomes that make a real difference to people’s lives.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in partnership with various stakeholders.
- An understanding of NDIA/NDIS and a client-centred approach.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment including the ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment.
- Proven ability to respond to and prioritise competing and often urgent requests in an efficient manner whilst also maintain high work standards and accuracy.
- Demonstrated proactive flexibility, initiative and broader skills through assisting and supporting all areas of the Mutual.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and databases.
- Flexibility for some out of hours work.
- Ability to work across two locations to meet operational needs.
- An understanding of business commerciality or experience with business development (preferable).
