Grand Pacific Health is the lead agency of headspace headspace Goulburn and headspace Yass, we are a not-for-profit, primary health care organisation providing locally-tailored, high quality physical and mental health services across NSW and the ACT.
About the position
Grand Pacific Health is looking for an emerging or experienced leader to be part of the headspace Goulburn and Yass team. If you’re passionate about leading a committed team working with young people to support mental health and wellbeing, this could be the right fit for you.
The headspace Goulburn and Yass Service Manager is responsible for the overall clinical and functional leadership of the multidisciplinary workforce. The incumbent will be a skilled leader with a passion for supporting a range of health professionals, community engagement staff, and students to deliver services that improve health and wellbeing outcomes for young people and their families in the Goulburn and Yass Regions.
The position is full time and is fixed term until 30 June 2023 with strong potential for extension. Full-time positions can choose to enjoy a rostered day off each month.

What you’ll need
- Current full AHPRA registration as a clinical psychologist, registered psychologist, registered mental health nurse or occupational therapist, qualified social worker eligible for membership of the AASW or relevant skills, qualifications and experience in mental health services and health services management.
- Understanding of the Australian health care system and key issues relevant to primary health care particularly in relation to the health and wellbeing needs of young people with mental health and/or substance use problems
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills and ability to establish partnerships with a range of service providers and organisations
- Demonstrated skills in health services management including planning for and delivering on team objectives and deliverables, monitoring and maintaining team performance, ensure role clarity and accountability and facilitating collaboration
The ability to be successful in this role would be enhanced by possessing the following desirable attribute:
- Previous experience in coordinating and managing the delivery of services of a multidisciplinary team in a health or community service
