About the Role
The role will be responsible for maintain and supporting a portfolio of commissioned service providers across the Brisbane South Region. The priority areas of Mental Health, suicide Prevention, Alcohol and Other Drugs including planning, implementing, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on programs of work across Brisbane South PHN.
This role will implement significant partnership projects and initiatives in collaboration with Metro South Addictions and Mental Health Service, and other key stakeholders, enabling the implementation of the Working Together Differently – Brisbane south mental health, suicide prevention and alcohol and other drug Foundation Plan 2019-2022, ensuring activities focus on the achievement of program goals and contribute to the realisation of the Brisbane South PHN strategic goals and vision.
This role will sit within the Mental Health, Suicide Prevention, Alcohol and other Drugs Program team. This is a full time fixed term role to 31 March 2023.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience within health, community or social care
- Strong understanding and demonstrated experience in government policy and initiatives for the Mental Health and Alcohol & Other Drugs program area.
- An understanding of service delivery, engagement and collaboration within the adult/child & youth mental health and social care field would be highly desirable.
- Proven experience in service design and planning, implementation and monitoring, including managing complex projects or programs with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex and numerous tasks to meet deadlines in a high demand work environment using well developed project management skills.
- Significant experience in effective stakeholder engagement and relationship development with service sector partners.
- Highly developed facilitation, interpersonal, communication and negotiation/influencing skills and the capacity to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated understanding of contemporary evidence-based approaches to mental health, suicide prevention, and integrated care, including concepts of change management and service co-design
- Knowledge and understanding of person-centred care and the emerging role of consumers in the planning, design, delivery and evaluation of health services.
- Current driver’s licence.
- National Police Check
