Sessional Lecturer – Bachelor of Community Services

Acknowledge Education provides quality education to international and domestic students. We are currently seeking casual lecturers to teach units in the Bachelor of Community Services course providing education across the following areas:
- Community Services
- Counselling
- Australian Social Systems and Policy
- Coordination and Support
- Specialist Skills (e.g. Family Violence, Alcohol and Other Drugs, Mental Health)
- Fieldwork Placement
To be eligible for this role, you will need to possess:
- Master of Social Work or equivalent post-graduate qualification in a community services-related discipline,
- Eligibility for membership of the AASW, ACWA or APS,
- At least two years recent community services-relevant practice and an understanding of theory and practice in an Australian context.
It would be considered highly desirable if you also possessed:
- Relevant tertiary teaching experience, the ability to further develop teaching expertise,
- The ability and willingness to use technology for teaching and learning,
- The ability to develop and review curriculum material and resources,
- Experience and commitment to work in a cross-cultural environment and support students from diverse backgrounds,
- Teamwork skills and the willingness to contribute to professional collaboration and academic administration.
- The ability to take on liaison/supervision duties for the fieldwork placement program.
