Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalised online consultations to clients via the intuitive Anni mobile application.
• Provide expert advice, guidance, and support to clients seeking assistance in various areas of sexual health, intimacy, and relationships.
• Offer personalised recommendations on products and services that align with client’s needs and goals.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current research, trends, and best practices in the field of sexology, sexual health, and relationship.
• Build strong relationships with clients and provide ongoing support to help them achieve their wellness objectives.

Requirements:

• Preferably degree-qualified in fields such as psychology, counselling, social work, health sciences or a related field.
• Preferably certified by one or more professional bodies such as the Society of Australian Sexologists (SAS) or the Australian and New Zealand Professional Association for Transgender Health (ANZPATH).
• Proven experience and expertise in sexology, sexual health, or relationship advice.
• A deep understanding of various aspects of sexual health, including anatomy, physiology, sexual disorders, sexual dysfunctions, and common issues affecting individuals and couples.
• Strong counselling and therapy skills to effectively address and manage emotional, psychological, and relationship-related challenges that clients may be facing. This includes active listening, empathy, rapport building, and the ability to create a safe and non-judgmental space for clients.
• Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex and sensitive information to clients. This includes being able to explain concepts clearly, provide accurate information, and facilitate open and honest conversations.
• Proficiency in conducting research and staying updated with the latest advancements and trends in sexual health psychology. This includes the ability to critically evaluate scientific literature, apply evidence-based approaches in practice, and integrate research findings into counselling interventions.
• Sensitivity and awareness of cultural, social, and individual differences in relation to sexual health. This includes respecting and valuing diverse perspectives, understanding how cultural factors influence attitudes towards sexuality, and adapting counselling approaches to meet the unique needs of clients from different backgrounds.
• Be able to work ethically and professionally by maintaining confidentiality, promoting client autonomy, and ensuring the well-being and safety of clients throughout the counselling process. Adherence to ethical and professional standards in line with the field of sexology and relationship counselling.
• Ability to empathise with clients’ experiences, emotions, and concerns, while maintaining a non-judgmental attitude.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to identify and assess client’s needs, formulate appropriate treatment plans, and provide practical strategies for addressing sexual health concerns.
• Proficiency in using technology platforms and willingness to adapt to the Anni mobile application for consultations.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest research and advancements.
