Senior Psychologist – ($111,673.00 – $121,301.00 per annum) 
Clinical Psychologist – ($102,051.00 – $125,151.00 per annum)

What you’ll be doing:
This role is identified for female Aboriginal applicants only.

It is a multi-level and multi grade position open to clinicians with varying levels of experience who will be graded accordingly and have the role tailored to their level:

?    Social Workers Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, or Level 4
?    Psychologist
?    Clinical Psychologist
?    Senior Psychologist

The successful candidate will have some experience supporting people who have experienced trauma and will be supported to grow their skills in the provision of specialist therapeutic and case management services to Aboriginal adults and children who have been sexually assaulted or who are under the age of 10 years with problematic and sexually harmful behaviours (Safe Wayz), and their non-offending family members.

Professional development will be provided alongside generous clinical supervision, cultural supervision and peer supervision arrangements. You will join a highly supportive tertiary trauma counselling team providing both crisis and traditional counselling interventions alongside community education and other sexual violence-based interventions. The team will suit clinicians who enjoy diverse, fast paced, client-centred work with a strong dedication to reducing violence in the lives of individuals and communities whilst contributing to the decolonisation of NSW Health services. 
 
The Sexual Assault Service is aligned with Prevention and Response to Violence Abuse and Neglect (PARVAN) which develops policy and supports services for children, young people and adults who are victims of violence, abuse or neglect. The Sexual Assault Counsellor is responsible for the provision of specialist therapeutic and case management services to Aboriginal adults, young people and children who have been sexually assaulted or who are under the age of 10 years with problematic and sexually harmful sexual behaviours, and their non-offending family members.

This position will work with the Safe Wayz clinicians to implement the Aboriginal Action Plan linked to the Safe Wayz Pathway for children under 10 with Problematic and Harmful Sexualised Behaviours.
