Griffith Base Hospital is a 120 bed facility with 100 hospital care beds and 14 maternity beds including Special Care Nursery. Each year we support approximately 25,000 emergency presentations, 2,500 operations and more than 600 births. We provide a 24 hour Emergency Department (ED) with 15 ED spaces supported by an Intensive Care Unit and telehealth facilities in ED, ICU, paediatrics to connect the team in Griffith with specialists across NSW Health.

About the Role
Being a person of female gender is a genuine occupational qualification for this position under section 31H of the Anti-discrimination Act.
Within the policies and procedures of NSW Health Kids and Families and the Murrumbidgee Local Health District, to provide specialised therapeutic and counselling interventions appropriate to sexual assault counselling. Provision of service is for children, adults, families and groups (all ages and genders). This would include a demonstrated ability to implement effective therapies with individuals and groups.
