Lismore Community Health has a vacancy for a Social Worker to join their Sexual Assault team. Providing high quality clinical services and leadership as an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team for patients/clients of the Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD).

About you:

  • Relevant qualification in Bachelor of Social Work and eligible for membership of The Australian Social Work Association prior to commencing.
  • Advanced clinical reasoning and ability to apply professional judgement when performing novel, complex or critical tasks within the scope of practice of the position.
  • Effective communication through the use of information technology, written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and organise own work/caseload and supervise professional, technical and support staff
