About the role

Applications are welcome from highly experienced Social Workers to join the Grampians Mental Health Wellbeing Service (GMHWS) as a Mental Health Social Work Educator (Grade 4). Collaborating with other Educators, the Allied Health Discipline Leads and GMHWS Learning and Development team, The Mental Health Social Work Educator will provide discipline specific training, education, and clinical supervision to our students, early career, and other Mental Health Social Work workforce.

In this role you will support the Mental Health Social Work Discipline Lead with discipline specific leadership, workforce planning and evaluation of services. You will play an integral role in the implementation of the Royal Commission findings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing clinical supervision to Social Workers, including graduates and students.
  • Assisting the Discipline Lead with the planning and development and management of clinical teaching and clinical education of Social Workers employed by GMHWS.
  • Implementation of the GMHWS Allied Health Graduate Program in collaboration with other Educators and the Discipline Leads.
