  • Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network – Community Health Service, Barossa/Gawler
  • Salary: $67,466 – $82,359 p.a. – Temp F/T (up to 30/11/2023) – AHP1

 

Overview

Under the direct supervision of an experienced Allied Health Professional, you will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of social work services appropriate to the needs of the Barossa/Gawler community. To achieve this, you will work as a member of a multidisciplinary including health professionals and service providers from other sectors. You will utilise a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy and evaluation approaches. Applying client-centred practice and community engagement principles in the provision of services, you will use Community Health Program eligibility and prioritisation frameworks to inform work plans and services in accordance with community needs. You must hold a recognised qualification within the Social Work profession and be eligible for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers. This will be supported by your experience in providing straightforward clinical services including one-on-one, group and health promotion activities. You will be capable of managing and prioritising your personal workload and working positively within a team environment. Your ability to communicate effectively with a range of people, both verbally and in writing, will hold you in good stead for this role.

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
