Role Description
The transition to mental health positions are roles specifically designed to support clinicians with experience outside of clinical mental health to enter the mental health workforce and develop mental health practice capability. Successful applicants will be required to work effectively in the allied health multi-disciplinary team providing Social Work services to the inpatient?s services through mental health assessment, treatment and support to patients. The team also provides advice, education and support to carers, family and health care providers

The Mental Health Service provides psychiatric care and treatment across a large catchment area in Victoria stretching from Swan Hill in the north of the state to Gisborne in the south.
