Veteran Benefits Australia (VBA) is looking for a Social Worker to support veterans with access to vital services, do you have what it takes?
VBA is a national organisation that helps veterans with access to vital healthcare and services. We have been working with veterans for over 8 years and now we’re looking for a Social Work Super Star who can help elevate our service further.
Veterans have a broad range of needs and we are looking for a Social Worker who can help identify opportunities for them to access the help they need and how that might be facilitated within our VBA network of services.
Having a broad skill set is ideal to be able to react to the array of challenges you may face whilst assisting veteran clients. The ability to problem solve on the fly and think on your feet is of significant advantage.
The right candidate will also be called on to assist with the development of ongoing programs and training as we grow the social work team.
On a day-to-day basis, the role will be varied and rewarding, and the right candidate will become crucial to the ongoing success of veterans within our network.
This role is initially an in-person role at our office in Milton, QLD and there will be options to work in a hybrid setting.
