We are looking to grow our team in the medical industry and currently taking applications for Social workers!
There are Casual, Part Time and Permanent Positions available!
About the Role:
This role can involve various tasks through out a day, such as:
- Client Assessments
- Case management
- Counselling and Support
- Advocacy
- Client Intervention
- Policy and program development
- Social Participation
What you will need:
The Successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following:
- Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration
- NDIS Worker Screening – Desirable
- Current Driver’s License
- Working in Australia Rights
- First Aid & CPR
- Demonstrated experience as a Social Worker
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good experience in community engagement and relationship building.
- A passion for helping people build capacity, live a comfortable life and achieve their goals.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Reliable, adaptable., motivated and committed to providing quality care.
- Knowledge of de-escalation techniques.
- Experience working with people with Mental Health disabilities.
- Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver training and development programs
- Planning, facilitation, evaluation and delivery of group based projects for young people who present with complex issues
- Provision of a high standard of assessment, case planning and health care services within a case management approach to young people with complex needs
