The team at Patches is made up of passionate individuals, who bring experience and excellence in their clinical service. Patches teams work in metro, rural and remote areas across WA, NT, and SA with expansion planned to NSW, VIC and TAS in 2022.

About Broome

The Role

Patches is seeking a highly motivated Social Worker / Psychologist to join our team in Broome, WA. Your excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills will be critical to your success in this role. You will have the support of an established local Allied Health team and Patches National transdisciplinary therapy service.

Casual, full-time and part-time options will be considered. Provisional psychologists are also welcomed to apply!

Selection Criteria

  • Solid experience and knowledge of the disability sector, particularly working within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
  • Experience working with a paediatric and/or youth background, including practical knowledge of current developmental assessments, tools and interventions
  • Experience working with a disability and/or elderly caseload, conducting home assessments and making recommendations for home modification and equipment prescription

Eligibility requirements

  • Relevant professional registration
  • Current Australian Drivers License 
  • Current National Police Clearance 
  • Current Working with Children Check 
  • Australian/New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Proof of COVID 19 vaccination
