Ocean Grace, is a highly regarded child, adult, relationship and family counselling business based in Caloundra who prides themselves on delivering high quality services and support to their clients. Through their services they aim to support children, parents, teachers, carers and families to bring their focus back to the most important part of life, relationships. They are now seeking to appoint a Social Worker (who is keen to work towards their mental health accreditation), Registered Psychologist or Mental Health Occupational Therapist to work with their growing client base.
The opportunity:
Ocean Grace are seeking a motivated therapist (preferably with previous relevant experience) to join their passionate team. In this role, you will work with individuals and families to provide counselling and support through one on one, family and group sessions.
Establishing positive, trusting rapport with clients you will assess and treat mental health disorders, creating individualised treatment plans according to client needs and circumstances. You will have the opportunity to work creatively and flexibly whilst liaising with external parties to provide a holistic service to support your clients. You will be provided with individual and group supervision, professional development and team meetings where you will be encouraged to share your expertise.
About you:
As an experienced therapist (currently registered with AASW/APS), you have the ability to provide support and practical interventions to help your clients. You build relationships easily and consequently are able to provide effective and appropriate solutions to meet your clients varied needs.
You must be highly organised and have the ability to work independently with effective time management skills. With a down to earth, caring and common-sense approach you maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity.
As this is an established boutique practice, you will be an enthusiastic team player, who enjoys contributing to the positive team culture.
