Role Overview:
As a Social Worker specializing in Mental Health Support, you will play a crucial role in providing emotional assistance, guidance, and resources to individuals facing various mental health difficulties. You will work remotely, leveraging digital communication tools to connect with clients and offer empathetic support tailored to their unique circumstances.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote assessments of clients’ mental health needs and challenges.
- Develop personalized care plans that address any non medical barriers
- Provide remote counseling and therapeutic interventions to clients, fostering a safe and supportive environment.
- Assist clients in accessing relevant services
- Monitor and track clients’ progress, adjusting interventions and strategies as necessary.
- Offer crisis intervention and de-escalation support when urgent situations arise.
- Maintain accurate and confidential electronic records of client interactions and progress.
Qualifications:
- ASSW eligibility or registration is essential
- Own car and Australian Drivers License
- Proficiency in using digital communication tools and platforms
- Ability to work independently and manage a remote caseload effectively
- Compassionate, non judgemental and culturally sensitive approach to working with diverse populations
