Opportunity for an accredited Social Worker to join vibrant organisation located in Warners Bay, NSW!

This organisation has operating in the Central Coast region since 2016, and due to continued growth and service expansion, they are seeking an amazing Social Worker to join their team!

Role: Short-term contract with a view to extend to a permanent position (approximately 9 months duration at this stage). Full-time, part-time and flexible hours!

High likelihood of role continuing as this client has other service streams such as NDIS, Medicare and Full Fee services.

Duties:

  • You will provide initial and ongoing assessment to either adults or children or a hybrid of both.
  • You will assist with counselling and therapy to ensure you optimise health and wellbeing.
  • As an accredited Social Worker, you will liaise externally with people and professionals, as well as coordination and linking to other appropriate services.
  • You will provide both face-to-face and via telehealth platforms.
  • You will provide individualised and engaging case management support, ensuring you work collaborativley with a MDT and families/carers or guardians.

What’s required:

  • A Social Worker who is a current member of, or eligible for, membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) with experience in mental health
  • 1-2 Years’ experience – Open to consideration.
  • COVID-19 Vaccine + Booster
  • WWCC/ NPC -Or willingness to obtain.
  • NDIS Workers Check
