New Opportunities

State-of-the-art Therapy Rooms

Kudos Services’ has recently expanded into the southern region with our new site located in Can:Do Group’s state-of-the-art Noarlunga Centre hub.

This provides our therapists with a larger, dedicated space of therapy rooms, as well as access to the modern Community Centre facilities that include an accessible kitchen, rock climbing wall and soft play which can be available as part of therapy sessions as needed.

 

Private Practice Opportunities

Within the coming months, Kudos is also excited to soon be offering services to private clients in our new therapy space at the Noarlunga Centre office.

The successful candidate will have the perfect opportunity to expand their experience and skill set by working with private patients of any age, while also servicing NDIS clients over the age of 9!

 

About the role

The successful candidate will provide Speech Pathology and will be responsible for providing evidence-based assessments and intervention for children (9+), young people and adults with disability under the NDIS, or for private patients of any age. Kudos currently has multiple positions available at an AHP1 or AHP2 level.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Manage a clinical case load of 5 billable hours per day.
  • Integrate speech pathology services with other Kudos services to support a multi-disciplinary approach and liaising with and engaging in decision making, client reviews, planning sessions, program conferences and other appropriate meetings.
  • Conduct ongoing review and evaluation of interventions to maximise outcomes for clients and families and to enable the most effective use of resources.
  • Work and liaise with carers and families, service providers and community members to enhance the quality of life and choice for children and young people.

 

The successful applicant will have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
  • Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Excellent written communication skills including the ability to prepare high quality written reports, and other documentation as required.
  • Knowledge of current best practice interventions and of Strength-Based and Child and family-centred practice.
  • Experience in working within a multi-disciplinary professional team to plan, develop and deliver a combination of individualised interventions for children and young people with significant and often highly complex therapeutic needs.

It is a requirement of this position that the successful incumbent maintains a current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screen Check which is satisfactory to Kudos in accordance with the Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Act 2016 (SA), a current driver’s licence, and has received their COVID-19 vaccinations.
