JOB DESCRIPTION

Wesley College Melbourne, a school of the Uniting Church, established in 1866, is one of Australia’s leading and most respected co-educational independent schools.  With an enrolment of 3,400 students from ECLC to Year 12, it comprises three metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, at St Kilda Road, Glen Waverley and Elsternwick, outdoor education sites at Chum Creek, Mallana, Lochend and a Year 9 residential campus at Clunes.

The College is seeking an experienced and passionate Student Counsellor (Psychologist) for a part-time (0.60 FTE) leave replacement position for Semester 1, 2023. This position is at our St Kilda Road campus.

In making this appointment, the College is seeking applicants who, among other qualities, can demonstrate:

  • Qualifications and current registration as a psychologist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
  • Experience providing specialist counselling to students with regards to personal, emotional, social and intellectual difficulties
  • The ability to work in a climate of confidentiality
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
