About our role- We care about others

We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic individuals to fill multiple positions as Student Wellbeing Officer’s to provide non-therapeutic welfare, faith formation, and spiritual and emotional support to students, families and staff of Catholic primary schools in the Wollongong Diocese.

There are 3 temporary part-time positions available, consisting of 10 hours per week, for a period up until 20 December 2024. The locations for these positions will be Varroville, Edmondson Park and Shellharbour.

The salary for these positions is $37.62 per hour.

 Our requirements to provide care

  • Certificate IV in Youth Work, Pastoral Care or equivalent qualification
  • Demonstrated commitment to the principles of Catholic Social Teaching
  • Demonstrated commitment to the principles of Catholic Education
  • Willingness to support the values of CatholicCare and the ethos of the Catholic Church.
  • Understanding of the pastoral needs of students, families and staff who make up the community of catholic schools
  • Unencumbered NSW driver’s licence
