JOB DESCRIPTION

Yirara College has proudly provided 50 years of Education to remote area Indigenous students and continues to grow as an innovational educational institute including VET, work placements and life skills both in the academic and boarding spaces.

The College is seeking applicants for the following position to enable us to continue to grow as one of the strongest providers of Indigenous Education.

Student Wellbeing Support Officer

Full time

 The successful applicant must have:

  • The ability to support a school-wide approach in responding to students needs and challenges through the implementation of whole school frameworks
  • Knowledge and experience in working with restorative practices
  • Crisis management skills
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Must be able to obtain Ochre Card and National Police Check
